My Story
Fernando Andrade is originally from Chile and immigrated 1990 to the United States over thirty years ago.
He has a wide range of professional experiences, beginning his American career in labor work, as he did not speak English when he first immigrated. Eventually, he learned the language and now has a Master of Science in International Conflict Management and Resolution from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Science in Law and Criminal Justice Administration from Morris Brown College. He was an Interpreter for the judicial system in Georgia for more than two decades. He became interested in mediation and got his certification and registration in 2011, practicing for over a decade.
He now works locally and internationally, promoting mediation and peacebuilding.
Fernando founded a nonprofit organization, International Peacemakers And Community Mediation Center (501c3) (IPCMC.org), which educates communities about local governments and promotes peacebuilding, transparency, and accountability.
